Initially, Nita showed no interest in socialising with the other orangutans in her class or any inclination to learn, but with a lot of hard work from the dedicated babysitters, Nita started to enjoy her lessons and soon raced to the top of the class. Every penny counts in protecting these wonderful creatures and their fragile environment... any amount that you choose to donate will be a huge help.
We work to save the orangutan by rescuing and rehabilitating them, with an ultimate goal of releasing them back to the forest where they will be safe from human development, poaching and farming.
